Radiology Support

Orthopedic Physician Associates, a premier orthopedic practice minutes from downtown Seattle, is looking for a personable and dynamic individual to join our team as entry level Radiology Support for our busy practice. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday (day shift). This position requires the ability to be on your feet/walking most of the day.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare examination rooms before clinic starts each day
  • Escort patients to the examination rooms; verify date of birth before rooming patient
  • Clean examination rooms between patients; change pillowcases and covers
  • Stock examination and cast rooms with medical supplies, patient gowns, paper supplies and magazines
  • Input of medical information into EMR
  • Notify radiology department if an x-ray is needed pre-visit
  • Assist with patient transportation as needed (some lifting required at times)
  • Assist with arranging radiology rooms for various exams
  • Ensure patients are changed properly for their specific type of radiologic examination


Requirements

  • High school graduate
  • Some college preferred
  • Professional and personable demeanor; great people skills
  • Administrative and/or outpatient clinic experience desired (but not required)
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended hours

  • Problem solving skills, self-motivation and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations; remaining friendly and compassionate to our patients
  • Ability to exhibit cooperation, flexibility, and provide assistance when interfacing with patients, physicians and staff
  • Ability to adhere to HIPAA; patient confidentiality
  • A professional demeanor
  • Good time management skills
  • Consistency and timeliness in attendance
